A pioneer in hybrid technology, Hurtigruten reduces fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions by 20% by switching between fuel-powered engines and electric power. In partnership with the research organization SINTEF, it is developing zero-emission ships for the Norwegian coast, with the first scheduled for 2030, reaffirming its commitment to more sustainable and innovative tourism.
